The Client feature allows for flawless communication between the team and customer. It follows the most widely used pattern of: Description - Proposal - Objectives - Completion.
Description - a project overview provided by the Client to the team to describe the scope of work.
Proposal - after examining the description, the team needs to come up with a proposed solution. This will be sent to the Client for review and can be either approved or denied. In the case that it's accepted, the team can start creating objectives for the project. If it's denied, it will appear in the Issue Tracker with reasons for denial from the Client. Afterwards, team can resubmit the revised proposal until it's approved.
Objectives - when the Client accepts the proposal, it's time to create objectives. Objectives describe the steps the team go through to deliver the completed work. After an objective has been created, a team can attach tasks into it from Tasks page. Completing tasks associated with objectives will fill the progress bar (ex. 8/10 objectives completed - 80% progress). Once the objective has reached 100%, the team can send it to client for approval. This process is similar to proposal approval.
Completion - once all objectives have been approved, the Client can mark the project as completed and the work will be considered done.
- Once Proposal has been accepted, Proposal and Description cannot be edited.
- When objective is submitted for review or accepted by Client, it cannot be edited.
